Charlotte Liberty Walk on the 4th of July

Charlotte has an interesting place in history from the Revolutionary War. To celebrate the 4th of July, we decided to take an urban hike and enjoy the Charlotte Liberty Walk.

This historical walk includes 19 points of interest related to the Revolutionary War. We were able to find most of them.

Along the way we also enjoyed learning about what we can do to help save our world. The Discovery Place Museum brought in a display of giant globes to help teach about the environment and recycling. The scouts enjoyed looking at his display along our hike route.
