And Hiking is Back On

With Covid-19 shutting everything down, our cub scout meetings were no different. We have not been able to meet in person since February. But the council and the national organization said it was finally safe to start getting together. We decided to keep it low key and meet outside. So our hike club is the first thing we are trying.

Our first hike was to the Landsford Canal State Park. It was supposed to be in the middle of Lily Fest. This is the time of year that the rare Rocky Shoal Lilies can be seen in the river. However, with so much rain this year, the lilies remain under water. We did see many turtles out on the logs in the river though. It was good to be back outside together.
