Pinewood Derby

Today was one of the Scouts' favorite events...Pinewood Derby. After weeks of carving, planning and painting their cars, it was finally time to test them on the race track.

The decorations were really top notch this year thanks to one of our Webelos Scout's moms. The Scouts had many activities to help pass the time while they waited for the race to begin. They also had a great variety of snacks to eat.

The race was thrilling with many photo finishes. Good thing we have the new track and software to time the races for us. The Scouts and their siblings had many creative cars. And in the end, 5 winners were announced. Great job to all of our racers!
