Adopt a Creek

Pack 130 has joined forces with Troop 130 to Adopt a Creek in our town. On June 15th we headed out to clean up our section of the Sugar Creek.

It was challenging. The creek was down in a valley and our entry point was up on high ground. It took a little bit of daring to actually get into the creek.

The creek was surprisingly clean. We found more trash in the woods leading back to the creek than we did along the creek banks. We still had a good time. We got some hiking in and felt like we had done our good turn for the environment.
